The
DJ Ravin and David Visan Interview
It
was great fun meeting up again with DJ Ravin (above) as we
had previously met at the launch of Siddharta
and I was flattered that he remembered me from that occasion.
Today's event was the release of Buddha Bar VII.
 Co-compiler
was David Visan (left) who had also been responsible for Buddha
Bar IV For this compilation it the first time in the series
that two DJ's had worked together.
The
Buddha Bar compilations are a classic mixture of ethnic lounge,
with some world dance and a little bit extra thrown in for
good measure. It's ambient, it's energetic, its everything.
The music matches the people and the mood of the cool restaurant
in Paris - or so we are told...
We
have yet to eat there and maybe we'll do a XPP from there
soon but for now we'll have to content ourselves with the
interview from the launch of BBVII. The CD might seem an expensive
purchase but within it you are bound to find one artist to
take with you to the end of days.
The
first piece of music is by Bliss and is called Breathe and
the second is by Afterlife (featuring Danni Minogue) and is
called Take Me Inside.
