Debut soundtrack seeks film

Do you want to make a film? If you do, we already have the soundtrack, title and synopsis.

Its called ‘Point to Point’ and the chase begins after an ambush in the jungle.

Our hero flees into Volcano City where he has to avoid an ancient hidden society. He stumbles upon the ‘Complex’ and steals a deadly item.

The chase continues through the laboratories of this mysterious annex until he finds himself on the volcano’s slopes, facing certain death. Will he survive? Or is it game over?

Jungle Chase by Tom Ashford from Showcase UK

The dramatic music is by Locks Heath composer Tom Ashford (22, above). His abilities are so impressive we’ve decided to publish the album through Showcase UK.

Tom ticks all the right boxes with this score and the action described above is easily matched by his melodies, instruments, pace and timing.

It was computer games that inspired him into this genre and cites the company Rare as being chief instigator.

“They had a full time team working on the music and produced some wonderful soundtracks. Their games on the Nintendo 64 were my favourite of all time and although it seems like a long time ago, their quality still influence me.”

The album cover was created by Hedge End artist Hayley Yates and is a homage to the sixties style of graphic designer Saul Bass.

All we need is a budding Spielberg and cracking cast to round this off!

‘Point to Point’ can be downloaded from iTunes and Amazon. A limited edition CD (£2.99) can be bought from www.showcaseuk.tv
